The “F*ck ICE, Eat Rice” Community Cookbook is a labor of love and a material manifestation of community care. There’s over 15+ rice recipes and stories as well as poems, art (by yammakesstuff), and photography (by @sophiacalderonfoto).

But this cookbook is more than just food and culture, it's a place for (political) education and hope. The intention is to respect food in a way that fuels our mindbodyspirit (literally and figuratively) and the revolution. Food is more than just for consumption. It's for community building. Cultural Preservation. Connections. Crumbling of empires. If food is used as weapon in wars, the hope is to uphold food in a way where it builds people power and return material needs back to our communities. So far we’ve raised over $1700 for immigrant funds in CO and several other states. A few organizations we have donated to is Colorado Immigrant Freedom Fund, Casa De Paz, Trans Immigrant Fund and to the strikers in Delaney Hall.
