Kalayaan (Freedom) Purses are handmade, each one is unique and created by women incarcerated in the Philippines. A product that brings hope and financial support to the makers knowing that their products are reaching beyond the walls, borders, and even oceans.

In March of 2026, we visited these women with a family member who visits them weekly to help them navigate the system. We learned that so many of these women were stuck in poverty and didn't have many choices and/or did not know how to navigate the prison system.
